Only a basic level of fitness is required for our Daintree tour, and all the walks are short and completely manageable for most people.
At Mossman Gorge and in the Daintree Rainforest, the guided walks are along well-maintained, easy boardwalks with handrails and take around 20–30 minutes each, depending on the weather and the pace of the group. We always walk at a relaxed speed with plenty of stops so everyone can soak in the surroundings, listen to the guide’s commentary, and take photos along the way. Participation in the walks is optional – if you’d prefer to skip any section, you’re very welcome to relax and rejoin the group afterwards.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant and includes a selection of freshly prepared meals and tropical fruits. Some of the lunch options to choose from are Barramundi, Kangaroo Loin, Chicken breast with Mango Salsa, Rib Filet Steak, Pasta, etc. If you have dietary requirements, please notify us when you complete your online check-in.
Unfortunately, we can’t accept wheelchairs as we do not have wheelchair lifts.
Passengers with mobility issues need to be comfortable getting in and out of the tour bus vehicle.
The highest point reached on our Daintree tour is Alexandra Lookout, which sits at 561 metres above sea level. This elevation is considered low and is generally safe for guests who are diving the Great Barrier Reef before or after the tour. As always, we recommend following the advice of your dive operator regarding surface intervals, but the altitude reached on this tour is well within safe limits.

Yes, there is an opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Mossman Gorge (subject to conditions on the day) so bring your swimmers and a towel. You can change at The Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre.
