You'll begin with a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony conducted by Kuku Yalanji custodians, followed by a guided walk through the rainforest and gorge. Depending on conditions, there is also an opportunity to swim in the clear freshwater pools of the Mossman River.

Yes, swimming may be possible in the freshwater swimming holes at Mossman Gorge, subject to weather, water conditions and local safety advice. Bring swimwear and a towel if you'd like to take part.

The Daintree River cruise provides an opportunity to see wild estuarine crocodiles, as well as birds and other wildlife. Sightings are not guaranteed because the animals are wild, but the experienced cruise guides know the river and areas where wildlife is commonly found.

Yes. The tour can be enjoyed by families, particularly children interested in wildlife, rainforest and swimming. Keep in mind that it is a long full-day experience, with approximately 10 hours of sightseeing and travel.

There is some walking during the Mossman Gorge experience and at other sightseeing locations. The main gorge paths are generally accessible, although visitors should expect some uneven rainforest terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

It can be suitable for older travellers who are comfortable with a full day of sightseeing, walking and getting on and off the coach. If you have mobility concerns, it's recommended that you discuss your requirements with Tropic Wings before booking.
