The overnight option allows you to experience the Cape Tribulation and Daintree region over two days rather than trying to fit everything into a single day. The tour itinerary is divided between the two days, with approximately half of the sightseeing and activities taking place on day one and the remainder on day two, along with one night's accommodation in Cape Tribulation.

The overnight tour essentially spreads the Cape Tribulation experience across two days. Rather than spending the entire day travelling between Cairns and the Daintree, you have more time to enjoy the attractions and scenery, stay overnight in the rainforest and complete the remaining parts of the itinerary on the second day.

There are several accommodation styles available, ranging from shared dormitory-style rooms through to private twin or double rooms with ensuites.

Not necessarily. Depending on availability and the accommodation option selected, private twin, double or other private-room options may be available, as well as shared dormitory accommodation. It is worth checking the available room types when making your booking if you prefer not to share.

You’ll get served lunch on day 1 before being dropped at your accommodation. Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch while at your accommodation are not included. The accommodation has a Café with reasonably priced meals.

Yes – you’ll basically have a whole afternoon and then the next morning as free time.

The overnight option is particularly appealing if you want to experience more of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation region at a more relaxed pace. Instead of returning to Cairns at the end of a single long touring day, you stay amongst the rainforest and continue the experience the following day, giving you more time in the destination itself.

The tour is considered easy to moderate. It includes short guided walks on boardwalks and established tracks, with opportunities to rest throughout the day. Most people with average fitness levels can comfortably participate.

There is a good chance of spotting crocodiles during the Daintree River cruise, along with birds and other wildlife. However, as these are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Yes, there may be an opportunity to swim at Mossman Gorge in the clear, cool waters of the Mossman River, depending on weather and safety conditions on the day. Your Accommodation also features a swimming pool. There is a really nice waterhole a short walk away. Swimming in the Ocean at Cape Tribulation is not advised.

At Mossman Gorge, guests take part in a traditional Welcome to Country and smoke ceremony conducted by the Kuku Yalanji people. This cultural experience introduces local customs, traditions, and spiritual connection to the land.
