Park entry is available between 08:00 and 14:30 each day, with the park closing at 16:00. When booking online, you can choose an approximate arrival time, but actual entry is flexible throughout the day until 14:30.

General admission gives you access to the Wildlife Habitat park, its five main wildlife environments and the daily scheduled wildlife talks and presentations. It also includes access to the CrocArena viewing area.
Your general admission ticket includes a five-day re-entry pass, allowing you to return to Wildlife Habitat during the five consecutive days following your initial visit.
The park is home to a wide variety of Australian wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, crocodiles, cassowaries, reptiles and numerous native birds. Different species can be found throughout the Wetlands, Rainforest, Savannah, Nocturnal and Woodland habitats.
Yes. Kangaroos and wallabies roam freely through the Savannah Habitat, and suitable animal food can be purchased from reception or the café for visitors who would like to hand-feed them.
Yes. General admission includes the park's scheduled daily wildlife talks and presentations. These can include keeper talks and feeding presentations featuring animals such as cassowaries, koalas, reptiles and crocodiles.
Yes. The daily crocodile feeding presentation is included with general park admission. You can also visit the CrocArena and view the crocodiles from the covered grandstand and underwater viewing area. Swim with the Salties and Big Croc Feed are optional activities
A prebooked Koala photo can be added to your entry ticket.Wildlife Habitat offers wildlife photo opportunities at scheduled times during the day. These photo experiences are separate from general admission and involve an additional charge.
Wildlife Habitat is currently open daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm, except Christmas Day. Individual presentation times operate throughout the day and can change due to weather, animal welfare or guest safety.
Yes. The park and its facilities are generally wheelchair accessible, although some specific areas and experiences have restrictions. Free wheelchair hire is also available, subject to availability.
Yes. Strollers can also be hired at the park for a small fee, subject to availability. The park also provides baby-change facilities.
Yes. Curlew Café and Bar is located within the Wetlands Habitat and serves food, snacks, ice creams and drinks. General admission is required to access the café because it is located inside the park.
Wildlife Habitat is located on Port Douglas Road, approximately five minutes from the centre of Port Douglas. Visitors can drive themselves, use local shuttle services or arrange a taxi or rideshare. Complimentary parking is available at the park.
Yes. There is plenty to see throughout the park, with five different habitats, wildlife encounters and scheduled presentations throughout the day. Because admission includes five-day re-entry, you can also return on another day if you don't see everything during your first visit.
