You'll stop at the locally owned Emerald Creek Ice Creamery and enjoy a tasting of four different ice cream flavours. The ice cream is produced on site using local ingredients and provides a delicious afternoon treat during the tour.

Yes. The tour finishes with a journey aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, travelling from Kuranda through the spectacular Barron Gorge to Freshwater Station. Along the way you'll pass through rainforest, across bridges and through hand-hewn tunnels while hearing stories about the construction of the historic railway.

You'll drive through the Village to get the train back to Cairns, but you won't have any free time to explore yourself.

The tour can be suitable for older travellers who are comfortable with a full day of sightseeing and some walking. There will be several occasions when passengers need to leave and re-board the coach. If you have mobility concerns or use a mobility aid, it is recommended that you advise the operator before booking.
