No. This COMBO features 2 separate full day tours. You'll need to arrange your own accommodation.
The package combines a full-day Great Barrier Reef cruise with a full-day Chillagoe and Outback tour, giving you two very different Tropical North Queensland experiences.
The reef day includes unlimited snorkelling, snorkelling equipment and flotation devices, lycra/sun-suit hire, tea and coffee, an Aussie BBQ lunch, and a complimentary glass of wine and light snack on the return journey.
The Outback day travels by air-conditioned 4WD through the Atherton Tablelands and out to Chillagoe, visiting caves, Aboriginal rock art, historic mining sites, Balancing Rock and Granite Gorge.
Yes. The tour includes a visit to the Chillagoe-Mungaga Caves National Park, with the caves explored alongside a local expert or ranger guide.
Yes. Possible wildlife sightings include kangaroos, wallabies, emus, wedge-tailed eagles, squatter pigeons and frill-neck lizards. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
Yes. The reef day includes an Aussie BBQ lunch, while the Outback day includes lunch at the Chillagoe Hotel Pub.
Yes. Introductory or certified scuba dives can be added at an additional cost, with up to three dives available depending on the option selected. A helicopter scenic flight is also available as an optional extra.
The reef experience is centred around snorkelling, although flotation equipment is provided. Guests who prefer not to enter the water can remain onboard and enjoy the reef cruise.
For the reef day, bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and spare clothing. For the Outback day, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water and lightweight clothing are recommended. It is best to pack for both tropical reef conditions and the drier Outback environment.

  • 9:45am - Arrive at first Outer Great Barrier Reef location
  • 9:45am-11:30am - Snorkelling and Diving
  • 11:30am - BBQ buffet lunch onboard
  • 1:00-3:00pm - Snorkelling and reef exploration
  • 1:00pm - Arrive at second Outer Great Barrier Reef location
  • 3:00pm - Depart the reef and cruise back to Cairns
  • 4:30pm - Arrive back in Cairns
Day 2 - Chillagoe Outback
  • 7:00am - Pickup from Cairns accommodation
  • 8:30am - Atherton Tablelands & Skybury Coffee Plantation
  • 10:30am - Travel through the Outback towards Chillagoe
  • 12:00pm - Chillagoe Caves guided tour
  • 1:30pm - Lunch at a historic Chillagoe pub
