In Tully, you have time to grab a light lunch at your own expense before travelling to the top of the Tully Gorge. Here, your River Guide will welcome you and fit you with essential safety gear. After a comprehensive safety briefing and practical paddling tips, warm up with a few small rapids before taking on the excitement of grade 3 and 4 white water rapids.

Navigating the river, you will encounter both exhilarating rapid sections and calmer waters, providing moments to catch your breath and enjoy the impressive scenery around you. The adventure concludes at the take-out point, where you can change into dry clothes.

Wrap up the day at the Feluga Hotel with a well-earned country pub dinner, sharing stories with fellow rafters in a unique atmosphere. Afterwards, relax during the return coach ride back to your Cairns accommodation.

Bring swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, secure footwear such as sports shoes or adventure sandals, waterproof sunscreen and a cap to wear under your helmet if desired. Jewellery and valuables should be left at your accommodation.
