The day begins with the Kuranda Scenic Railway journey up the mountain to Kuranda. After some free time in the village, you travel back towards Cairns by Skyrail before continuing by coach to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.

There is approximately one hour of free time in Kuranda Village. This gives you an opportunity to browse the markets, shops and galleries or grab something to eat before continuing to Skyrail.

The historic Kuranda Scenic Railway travels through spectacular rainforest and Barron Gorge, with views of waterfalls, mountains and the surrounding tropical landscape. It is one of the region's most popular ways to reach Kuranda.

Skyrail is a scenic gondola journey over and through the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics rainforest. The journey includes stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls, where you can explore the rainforest and enjoy spectacular views.

Yes. The tour includes time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls stations. At Red Peak you can visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre and join complimentary guided boardwalk tours when available. At Barron Falls, you can enjoy views from The Edge Lookout.

Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is a large wildlife attraction north of Cairns where you can see saltwater crocodiles and a range of native Australian wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries, birds and reptiles.

Yes. A 25-minute Wetlands boat cruise through Hartley’s Melaleuca wetlands is included. The wetlands are home to saltwater crocodiles and provide an opportunity to see these animals in their natural-style wetland environment.

As well as crocodiles, Hartley’s is home to a variety of Australian wildlife, including koalas, wallabies, cassowaries, birds, reptiles and other native animals.

The Hartley’s experience includes wildlife presentations such as the Crocodile Attack Show and Snake Show. These provide an opportunity to learn more about some of North Queensland's most fascinating reptiles.

Lunch is not included in the tour. Hartley’s has food and refreshments available for purchase, while the limited free time in Kuranda also provides an opportunity to purchase food before continuing with the tour.

There is several hours to explore Hartley’s, with the coach arriving at approximately 1:20pm and departing at approximately 4:45pm. This provides plenty of time to explore the park, see the wildlife presentations and take the Wetlands boat cruise.

Yes. The combination of the historic railway, rainforest cableway and wildlife at Hartley’s makes this a family-friendly full-day experience. Children aged 4–14 qualify for the child fare, while children aged 0–3 travel free when included on the booking.
