Your journey begins at Lake Barrine, a picturesque crater lake ringed by ancient rainforest, where you can relax with locally sourced tea or coffee as you take in tranquil views. Continue on to Winter and Mann in Yungaburra, where your hosts open their home for an exclusive sample of regional flavours in an intimate setting.

Enjoy gourmet lunch at the Australian Platypus Park, accompanied by fresh salads and award-winning smoked meats including crocodile, Red Claw yabby, and kangaroo, plus boutique beers and tropical ciders. Afterwards, sample tropical fruit wines and liqueurs before visiting Gallo Dairyland for freshly made cheeses and chocolates.

The tour continues with spirit tastings at Mt Uncle Distillery, samplings of seasonal produce and regional goods at The Humpy, and a sweet finish at Emerald Creek Ice Creamery. Reflect on a day of regional tastes as you return to Cairns through scenic countryside.

No. The tour focuses on local food and produce as well as drinks, so there are plenty of non-alcoholic tasting opportunities throughout the day.
Yes. The tour visits Shaylee Strawberry Farm, where you can enjoy strawberry products including jam, gelato and strawberry wines. During the strawberry season, generally June to October, there may also be an opportunity to pick your own strawberries.
No. The tour involves relatively little walking and is designed to be an easy-going experience. The vehicle generally stops close to the attractions and tasting locations, making it suitable for guests who prefer a more relaxed touring experience.

This is a boutique small-group experience rather than a large coach tour. A minimum of six passengers is required for the tour to operate.
