Kuranda Koala Gardens is a boutique Australian wildlife park located in Kuranda Village. The attraction specialises in native Australian animals, with koalas, wombats, quokkas, wallabies, kangaroos, freshwater crocodiles, reptiles, bilbies, gliders and other species on display.

The wildlife park is located within the Kuranda Heritage Markets on Rob Veivers Drive, making it easy to visit while exploring Kuranda Village. It can be reached by self-driving to Kuranda or incorporated into a day using the Kuranda Scenic Railway or Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

Kuranda Koala Gardens is currently open daily from 9:30am until 4:00pm, except Christmas Day.

Yes. One of the park's highlights is the opportunity to get close to its friendly macropods. Visitors can meet, pat and hand-feed tame kangaroos, pademelons and wallabies in the open-plan wildlife area.

Yes. The park has freshwater crocodiles living in a purpose-built lagoon. Visitors can view them from an elevated bridge walkway, providing a good vantage point without entering their enclosure.

Yes. There is currently a Nocturnal Presentation at 10:30am, where a wildlife keeper introduces some of the park's nocturnal animals. A Marsupial Presentation at 2:00pm focuses on animals such as wombats, kangaroos, wallabies and quokkas.
