Enjoy a private full day fishing charter on the Great Barrier Reef, departing from Cairns Marlin Marina aboard Blue Whaler. Ideal for small groups up to 12 people, this exclusive experience allows you to fish some of the region's best reefs while making the day your own.

The trip includes the use of all fishing equipment, tackle and bait, and is suited to families, corporate groups, or friends looking for something unique. Optional snorkelling at Michaelmas Cay is available for an added fee. When chosen, snorkelling is recommended earlier in the day to optimise your experience before you fish.

Check-in is from 6:00am at Shop G10, The Pier Shopping Centre, 1 Pier Point Road, Cairns. Departure follows shortly after, with a return to Cairns Marlin Marina at approximately 3:30-4:00pm. A later check-in time may be arranged (subject to operational requirements).

Fishing locations and activities are chosen on the day based on the best available conditions. All charters are weather dependent and require final confirmation by the vessel Master. Please contact directly for availability or alternative vessel options if booking for larger groups.

Optional Add-on: Snorkelling at Michaelmas Cay is available for $350 per charter. What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, and any extra drinks. Only mid-strength canned beverages are permitted-no glass allowed onboard. Check-in at 6:00am at Shop G10, The Pier Shopping Centre, 1 Pier Point Road, Cairns. Return is at approximately 3:30-4:00pm at Cairns Marlin Marina. Later check-in times are subject to availability; please contact to discuss. All charters are subject to weather conditions and the vessel Master's confirmation. Advertised charter price is $3,800 per vessel. An additional $700 fuel levy per vessel applies.
