You will snorkel and dive in remote locations, made possible by exclusive permits, offering remarkable marine life and beautiful coral formations. Whether you are a keen diver or a first-time snorkeller, the day is tailored to suit varying conditions and explorer levels.

Between exhilarating water activities, unwind and soak up the views on open sundecks or cool off in the air-conditioned lounges. The vessel provides plenty of room and comfort for relaxation, making your day at the reef both adventurous and enjoyable.

What to bring: Swimwear, a towel, and sunglasses. Hat and shirt for sun protection. We recommend marine-friendly sunscreen. Certification card for certified divers. Camera. Cash or credit card for additional dives or drinks at the bar. Drink container for the onboard water fountain. Conditions: Child rates apply for 4-14 years. Infants 3 years and under are free of charge. Due to potential significant volatility in supply and operational costs, a surcharge may be applied due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure. A credit card surcharge may apply. Presentation of a valid photo ID and the credit card used to book/a credit card is required for anti-fraud verification purposes at check-in. Drones are not permitted. At times of scheduled maintenance, our dive and snorkel catamaran, Poseidon, will operate in place of Silversonic. Optional Extra: Return coach transfers from Cairns and Northern Beaches for an additional cost. Certified or introductory diving. Underwater digital cameras are available for hire. Professional photo service "In-depth Video & Photography" onboard. Photos are available for purchase (at additional cost). Snorkel Safety Information: You will be required to complete a safety waiver prior to dive and snorkel activities. Your crew will do their utmost to ensure your safety during all of the day's activities; however, all swimming and snorkelling is undertaken at your own risk. If you have a medical condition, please advise the crew or lifeguard. Do not consume alcohol and eat only in moderation before snorkelling or diving. Always snorkel with a partner. Ask a travel companion to be your "snorkelling buddy". Children should always be accompanied by an adult. If you experience difficulty, signal the lifeguard by waving one or both arms above your head and calling out for help. Please always listen carefully to instructions and follow the advice from the lifeguard. If diving below the surface, look up when ascending and place your hands above your head to protect against collisions. One long blast on the ship's horn is a signal to recall all snorkellers from the water. Scuba Diving Conditions: Certain medical conditions (diabetes, asthma, etc) and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving. Flying after diving: A wait of 12 hours is recommended, but preferably 24 hours, if doing multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. Certified divers must possess an internationally recognised SCUBA certificate card. Levies: A Government Environmental Management Charge is payable by all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This charge is included in the total price shown. Fuel Surcharge: Due to the significant increase and volatility of fuel prices in Australia, it has regrettably become necessary to introduce a fuel surcharge to your ticket price, effective from 1 May 2026. The surcharge is payable upon check-in. The surcharge is payable per person. Not applicable for infants (0-3 years). Adult AUD $10 and a Child AUD $5.
